This was one of Freya Norths disappointments. But thats the problem when you get other great titles (like Pip or Fen).Although I could understand Pollys problems, it was still hard to relate to her as she made certain decisions that I find morally wrong. It was hard for me to like her, and the problem is, what keeps you reading the book when you dont like the main character, the one youre supposed to root for, the one youre meant to want to be succesful by the end?I thought the book was a bit too long and didnt have fully developed secondary characters, and the ending felt a bit too rushed as well.It was okay, if youre a big Freya North.
If its the first youve read on her, dont think its her at her best. Try other titles that are more developed, flow naturally and may seem more realistic.
