All of them are about relationships in one form or another. The first book is called Instruction Manual for the WIFE (Wonderful Idea From Eden). It is about the unique creation known as WOMAN (Wondrous One Man Always Needs). I wrote the forerunner of this little book back in 1988. I remember I submitted it to a publisher and he said that he liked it, and said it would make a good magazine article, but it was too short for a book.
After this, I rewrote it, made it much longer and made it into a small chapter book. After all, it is supposed to be a rather small book because it is a “manual”. This book may be difficult for some to understand, however, as it sounds very technical, but you must read between the lines to appreciate what it is saying.
I did this on purpose. In doing so, I believe the humor comes with hearing something said in a new way and a way that takes a moment to sink in.After I finished the Instruction Manual, I set about writing a companion book called How to Care for Your MAN (Mate’s Animalistic Needs). I thought it was not right to have one without the other. Men need to know all about women and women need to know all about men.Once these two were completed, I felt there should be a third.
The reason being is that you usually cannot have the WOMAN and MAN together without a CHILD soon coming along. Therefore, I wrote How to Care for Your CHILD (Cute Huggable Innocent Little Darling). Finally, when all was said and done, I felt there was something missing. The story begins in the Garden of Eden and I thought it should end with a “Revelation.” This gave me the idea to write the fourth book called INSTINCTS (Interesting Natural Secret Tendencies If Nature Could Teach Secrets).
The woman was created for the man and the child comes from them both, but why are they here in the first place? There are only two possibilities. One is that man is a direct result of blind evolution and there is no rhyme or reason for his existence. The second possibility is that he was put here for a purpose. If so, what purpose?
After I thought on this, I began the last book. In this narrative, I examine how a man would live if all he had were instincts. How would he behave, what would he eat and how would he find it? How would he attract a mate and what would he do once he did? How would he survive on only what he was born with?At the beginning of each book, I have an introduction that goes into more detail about what it is about. I also have a list of chapters.
I wrote these books to be humorous, but like the old saying goes, “There is many a truth spoken in jest.” Therefore, mixed among the humor there are many truths, truths that can help a relationship. There are all kinds of relationships: Men and women, children and their parents, along with relationships between different or extended family members. This book covers them all.I do have each of these as separate books, however.
I wanted to have them available as individual books- this way people could choose only the ones they want. I wrote these books to be entertaining and I hope they are. I also wrote them to make us laugh at ourselves and at the same time build our relationships stronger and to make them more fulfilling.
